Senior Executive Business Acquisition Program

This program is a special offering by LOUIS THOMAS MASTERSON & COMPANY and is provided to those qualified individuals who are interested in acquiring their own business.

Given the very difficult and time-consuming nature of acquiring one's own business, this program is not available to every client. Essentially, the client is or has been operating in a General Management role; is making in excess of $150,000 a year; and is able to analyze, acquire, and operate a business.

Our view towards these qualifications reflects a concern for an individual moving without proper preparation into an exciting sounding, but potentially hazardous, situation. Also the success of a senior level executive may be, in large part, the result of the previous organization's resources and support. When the individual and that organization are separated, the individual may be separated from those success factors. Therefore, before an individual is fully accepted into the program, he or she must be evaluated against the above criteria. All of the criteria are intended to focus on the potential for success in a more entrepreneurial environment.

Because of the unique relationship and understanding that exists with clients in the Senior Executive Business Acquisition Program, discussions with the client's sponsoring organization and with the client himself or herself are critical throughout this evaluation process.

Potentially, one of the most critical elements associated with this process is the personal advice and counsel provided by the senior executive mentor who works directly and personally with the client.

Since our initial work with a client is the above-mentioned assessment, we are able to shift, when necessary, to our Executive Outplacement service if the circumstances warrant a job search.

This service is sponsored by an employer who is responsible for all fees.
